Happy Halloween everybody! We’re kicking off the new half term in spooky fashion this week so here’s a rundown of what exciting things we’ve got coming up over the next eight weeks.
Our Music Place Choirs are enjoying a busy few weeks on the run up to Christmas performing at Manchester Cathedral in aid of Genesis and at the Christmas lights switch on in Altrincham town centre! Come along and join us for the Music Place Christmas Choir Cracker in early December; Stamford Park Junior School Choir and Teen Belters will feature alongside the Music Place Choir and our fabulous Vibrant Voices group, joined by a number of our very own soloists.
Vibrant Voices is in high demand this half term with performances at Manchester Cathedral and Sun Rise Care Home. Vibrant Voices meets once a week and caters for those living with dementia, and their carers. We also hope to see each vibrant voice at the Christmas party, to be held with full live band at the Cinnamon club at the end of the year!
The Cinnamon Club will also host our Band Night on Sunday 17th December, come along to watch the best of our Music Place Bands rock the Cinnamon Club!
The Music Place Supports… Carol Singing in care homes! Each term, The Music Place funds, with the generous donations of our students and teachers, an elected music project within our community. This term, the collection will help bring Christmas to our local care homes.
Wishing you a very Happy Halloween!
